Sandra Brown

Biography

Detective Sandra Brown is a retired detective from the Palo Alto Police Department. She served in law enforcement for over 29 years, starting as a Santa Clara County Sheriff Deputy in 1984 before joining the Palo Alto Police Department in 1988. She was promoted to various ranks, including Agent, Sergeant, and eventually Lieutenant in 2008. During her career, she held a number of roles, including Field Training Officer, Traffic Team member, Detective, and Crime Scene Investigator. She was also a School Resource Officer and a Public Information Officer. She was known for her work in community policing and problem-solving, which earned her the nickname "Downtown Sandra Brown." As a Crime Scene Investigator, her expertise was instrumental in the prosecution of individuals who committed violent crimes. She has been featured in other documentaries, such as *The Tetris Murders*, where she revisited a case that had haunted her for decades. In the series *The Tech Bro Murders*, she provides expert analysis and insights into the cases.
