Emily Chan Hoi Hang

Biography

Chan Hoi Hang Emily graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University School Of Communication, majoring in Film and minoring in Spanish. She is currently a freelance writer and screenwriter. ​To her, Art is a journey of self-exploration. It can be very lonely. Yet, with loneliness, comes liberation of our minds and souls. "Life touches life", random thought of ours just happen to spark ideas of others. And theirs, too, influence some other people. As this process continues, many more people are inspirited. This wheel of thoughts alone, is one of the most wonderful and powerful things of humanity. ​She is experienced in script writing, film directing and media project production. She designed and produced different video advertisement for corporates, including pre-production, production and post-production. She is also a great team player with good communication skills and project management skills. ​Her work "The Odyssey" entered the 11th Freshwave International Short Film Festival. She is also the winner of Dream Hunter Award, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong and got fully sponsored to Russia to film documentary “40 %off Russia”.
