**SEASON ONE REVIEW:**
Season Rating: 9/10
Overall Rating: 9/10 What a great opening season! 'Traces' is excellent TV. Love the setting of Dundee, Scotland and the casting in particular. Molly Windsor leads strongly as Emma, with Martin Compston adding a touch of quality as Daniel. You also have very good performances from the likes of Michael Nardone, Laurie Brett and Vincent Regan - among others. The pacing and relatively short (~43mins) episodes make this an extremely entertaining and enjoyable six episodes. The story is gripping. The show does a terrific job at making you trust no-one and question everyone, it took me a fair amount of time before I could definitively pinpoint where it was exactly going. The wrap up to season one is more than satisfactory. Other positives include the cinematography and music; love the opening theme, also. Hopefully this returns for a second season.
